Essential Functions:
To assist the Development Manager in the creation, design and implementation process of new projects, this will include:
1) Project feasibility studies, presentations and recommendations on development concept, preliminary program and budget;
2) Development/project brief, which include setting time, cost and quality objectives for the project;
3) Selection and appointment of project consultants and contractors, and coordinate and monitor their work done;
4) Identification of potential construction related issues or contractual disputes and effect appropriate solutions;
5) Management of the project to meet the time, cost and quality objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
- provide administrative and financial analysis support to ensure project completion and bring new market opportunities for consideration.
- participate in the asset management of existing properties including tenant relations, investor relations and communications.
- monitor project budgets and schedules for significant variances and oversee contractor payments when appropriate.
- assist in the leasing of certain properties to include working closely with legal counsel in review of lease documents.
- facilitate the marketing of projects to investors including making certain that all project agreements are properly documented.
- monitor the flow of information regarding project design among interested parties including investors, market research personnel, construction groups, consultants and architects.
- develop a constant awareness of market opportunities. These opportunities could include coordination of feasibility, economic and financial analyses. Additional responsibilities could include providing support for project design and site selection activities as needed.
- serve as a member of various project teams as required to facilitate company needs.

- comply with all policies and procedures.
Experience preferred:
Two to four years of work experience with a professional real estate development organisation which includes financial analysis activity and a record of project successes. Direct experience in Ghana and/or Nigeria will be a strong added plus. Nigerian or Ghanaian nationals will be preferred.
Essential knowledge and skills:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to implement a real estate financial model in Excel.
- Fluent in MS Power Point and Word. Fluency in MS Project will be an added plus.
- Ability to work independently and needs a minimum oversight.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule.

Education:
Four years degree in engineering, mathematics or business preferred. MBA from an internationally recognized program will be an added plus.
Location:
Accra, Ghana (extensive travel to Nigeria will be required).
